Cushions are attached to couch, covers do not come off. I have soaked up most with paper towel. But now how do I get rid of the smell?

  1. febreze? idk... call aa professional 2 come down and they'll fix it

  2. I always take a little detergent dilute with water, soak a sponge, and ringe out good) in the solution, scrub the area and take a dry wash cloth and soak up the excess,i have microfiber and four young children..i hate it!i am getting leather.i alswo use carpet cleaning solution with scotchgaurd, that works great, use the same way as the detergent, then look into getting your couch scotchgaurded.

  3. you can use a dish washing liquid like dawn and warm water.

  4. use 1 tsp. white vinegar diluted with 1 quart water.  spray on spot and blot dry.  the key to not leaving a water stain is to dry it thoroughly putting a fan on it if you have to.  if this doesn't work call a professional but you shouldn't use soap as this will make the odor worse.

  5. Pet stores carry a product called Nature's Miracle for biological accidents (urine, f***s, vomit).  You remove whatever you can by blotting up liquid, removing up solids, and then pour Nature's Miracle on the area.  It has enzymes in it that break down the wastes (the ones on the outer couch surface as well as inside the cushion).  Easy instructions on bottle.  PetSmart and Petco carry it for about $30 for a gallon jug.  It's also sold in smaller quantities.  I've used it for years for accidents made by pets and kids--works great!

  6. I would also recommend the vinegar and water.  When my daughter was going through that 'pee on the sofa' phase, it's what worked for me.  Goodluck!

  7. A must have for people with kids or pets is the Bissell Spot Bot.
