For a pageant would the judges prefer an inspirational song or a happy broadway song??

Happy Broadway Song. I would suggest something from Young Frankenstein if you have a sense of humor. Or something from Grease.

I've watched american idol canadian idol americas got talent, all these type shows, and inspirational songs make them teary eyed and they get really touched so I'd have to say inspirational

for good or defying gravity from wicked, or something from an older musical. sometimes when you sing something that is more recent and popular, judges fall asleep. a nice inspirational song would be nice as well. maybe hero by mariah carey.....

but it's up to you and what you think the judge(s) may like.
