  1. If you do a slow song, you could make it more touching and meaningful.  Think of all the slow, soaring, heart-breaking songs that inspire you.  There are alot of them in movie soundtracks. :)

  2. Make it a fast one! You can get people to clap and get involved with your performance instead of just sitting there. Pageants tend to drag on and on with slow songs but one that perks up the audience and gets people clapping and tapping their feet will make the judges take notice.

I did Mariah Carey's song "Make It Happen" and go a standing ovation because it was a fun song for everyone to participate in!  Good luck to you!

  3. I would suggest that if you feel good and confident that you sing both, then find one that has a combination of both. But I would much rather prefer that you sing a slow one, not something that would put people to sleep but something that's inspiring for you, your audience and would wow your judges. Go for a song like Josh Groban's "You raise me up", Christina Aguilera's "Reflection" or Whitney Houston's "The Greatest Love of All"....

    Good Luck

  4. Try both and you will know in your heart what makes you feel better. Good Luck!!

  5. fast. more exciting
