Maybe get songs from horse movies, find songs about horses on the internet and download them. Depressing music works with your subject, likes ones about love, beauty and death. Hope this helps. :)

Tempus Vernum by Enya.  Its really dark but slower.  It would be a powerful song to use with your subject.  Its good you are educating people on an overlooked subject that deserves the attention.  Its sick & horrible what goes on in those mills
