Song for musical audition?

I asked this question a little while ago, but i didnt get a very good response. Im trying out for my schools version of bye bye birdie, and we need to sing during the auditions. I need a good song to sing, thats good for a soprano (high) voice. if you're going to reccomend a show tune, thats great. but i need a fun to sing one thats not too difficult. Im a freshmen and ive never tried out for a musical before, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks!

I would agree on this one... broadway songs are very strong and big! If you do it right you can make a good impression!

I would say do a song from Chicago, Rent, Hairspray, Grease or Singin in the Rain.
