Song to sing 4 auditons 4 the musical footloose?

yo my school is doing the play footloose and i need a song to sing 4 audtions thats like an 80s pop/rock song any suggestions

Well definitely don't sing anything from Footloose.  After hearing that a thousand times in auditions it's just annoying and you won't be remembered.

Probably a lot of people will be doing stuff from Rent, but it's a last resort.

Spring Awakening is very pop/rock.  It would be a risky choice.  But if you can pull it off, then I'll bet you could have a pretty great audition.

Grease is always a safe choice.

Hairspray, also.
