Songcraft likely to shine in Coutts Glorious Stakes (Group 3)
Songcraft has got a very good chance of making a strong impression in the Coutts Glorious Stakes (Group 3) at Goodwood in England on Friday, August 3, 2012. A victory in the class-1 event will earn him a cash prize of £34,026.
A total of seven runners will be battling out for glory in the 1 mile 4 furlong event, which will start at 14:00 GMT. The competition amongst them will be a close one and the track conditions are expected to remain good for them in the day.

Singspiel’s son has participated in seven races till date, winning four of them. Moreover, he has finished as a runner up once whereas secured the third place on the same number of times. He has been a bit off-colour for the past few events, but he cannot
be ruled out because of that.
The Saeed Bin Suroor’s trainee made his first appearance in July 2011 and was rated as the outright favourite to succeed straight away. He had to fight hard, but managed to take the top spot by a short head distance in the end.
Songcraft followed that up with another victory that year and carried on with the same momentum in the 2012 season. He won his first two races this year, making it four in a row. This would have pleased his team, but they will definitely want him to win
more events.
The Irish runner has been unable to taste success for the past three events, but he has a solid chance of turning things around today. He showed some form in his previous outing, finishing runner up overall under Frankie Dettori, who will once again pair
up with him for this race.
