My 17th b-day is coming up know some good rock, pop, alternative songs pretty much anything but country songs that at least have some refence to seventeen.

The Janis Ian song is good too, but it is really meant for girls. This is the only song I know that is for guys at seventeen.

It is more of a ballad, than a twangy country song.
