Songs for a reading playlist?

what are good songs i should listen to while reading.

currently i am reading about a cancer patient.

am also looking for other music for generla reading, or please starts a list of songs for a different genre of books.

While reading I usually listen to The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who... from newer stuff Death Cab For Cutie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Modest Mouse. All of them have a lot of different kinds of music for different genres, but none of them are too loud or filled with screaming/noise, so you don't get overly distracted.

All in all I recommend any music you know well. That way you'll have music playing, but it won't break your concentration because it's already familiar.

well when i write i listen to Muse, Linkin Park and classical music. classical music is really goo at helping your concentration.
