Songs missing from Zune?

Question

I noticed a pattern with a new 80gb Microsoft Zune player, that if I delete a song from my computer's hard drive that is already uploaded on the Zune, it gets deleted from the Zune next time i connect it via USB. basically, it seems as though i can only have songs on my Zune if i keep them on my hard drive (But don't want to take up that much room on my computer). how can i fix this?

well you cant i dont think i have a zune and basically it just refreshes when you plug it in but there may be something in the settings but i havnt found it yet
