Songs u sing at a choir tryout

Does anyone know the songs u usually sing at a choir tryout cuz i am going to tryout for choir And i heard u usually sing short little songs can someone give me more detail

Well you can really sing anything actually. At my school we have to sing the scales and sight read...but yes you can pretty much do any song...make sure they know the song though!

usually the teacher gives you something to sing, but for mine we sang for JV Bohemian rapacity buy queen and listen to the music. for varsity try-outs we sang phantom of the Oprah.

Try singing song of the river it's a really beautiful peice or you can sing Memory from CATS the musical

When I tried out I had to sing Happy Birthday (that was for elementary choir). For high school you had to sing a scale (do-so or 1-5).
