Sonic (I'm a vegetarian) HELP!!!!!?

Question

Ok I'm a vegetarian and my mom planed out a whole day for us which I'm glad because we barely spend time together and we are going to sonic which I'm not to thrilled about. I need to know things I can order. Does sonic cook there fries in greese or lard or vegetable oil. What can I order there please help!!!!!!!!!!

Just don't order a salad without chicken because all they do is take it out of a ready made one so there may be hidden pieces of the chicken.

yeah, i havn't seen any major fast food chain that uses anything but a vegitable/canola oil for frying these days, so fries/potatos/onion rings should be safe.  they also have a selection of slushes and drinks.

all their salads have chicken in them, but you could always say hold the chicken.

Sonic has grilled cheese on their menu. I'm vegetarian and I always get that there. Their fries and onion rings are veg as well.

I believe they have some type of salad, you maybe better off asking for that. In a lot of fast food restraunts, the oil is shared between foods, so the fries maybe cooking with chicken.

i think pretty much all major companies use canola, vegetable, or peanut oil. if you're that concerned, then don't let me sppok you by telling you to look at the menu. they may be frying some kind of meat in that oil! bet they cook everything on the same grill too!

pretty much the only place that still uses lard are the little mom and pop joints, that have THE best food!

They have salads - http://www.sonicdrivein.com/menu/salads.... but all three have chicken!  You can get a shake and pack a sandwich.  As long as you aren't giving your mom grief about picking such a veg-unfriendly restaurant, she shouldn't give you grief about packing a lunch!
