Question

What is real-estate like in Sonoma County California? Do you think real-estate will get better in Sonoma in the future? Where in Sonoma is real-estate the greatest? Please answer with as much detail as possible...Thanks!!

There is not a lot of housing in Sonoma and the area does not support development.    It was not hit with this "crisis" so I doubt it will change much in the future, it has been pretty steady for 20 or so years.

The cost of vineyards goes up, but housing itself does not move that much.

try www.zillow.com and you can see what properties are avialable and their prices and the trends in the area. This is a FREE site and you need not supply any personal info about yourself (so no agents to bug you)--this allows you to search the area at your leisure. Don't be fooled into thinking the CA market is all fine and dandy--it's not, but in sonoma, just like everywhere else, things will get better, it's just no one knows when that will be. Good luck!
