Question:

Sons second birthday party ideas.?

My sons 2nd birthday party is a week from today. I was planning a train party for him. Yes we already bought all the supplies minus the balloons. Well the location just got thrown out of play today, due to the fact of a preschedueld event that was over looked by the rec center. So now I am down on ideas and need a creative boost. Any sugestions if we have the party at home as what to do? I dont want tons of people trampling through my home and getting it filthy so we were going to rent some tables and do it outside. I orginally decided on pigs in a blanket, popcorn chicken and small fruit and veggie baskets. That with Chips, cake and ice cream is more than plenty for pint size guests and parents alike. So I have no game ideas or event ideas in mind - so any suggestions even if it disregards the ones I have are accepted. THANKS

  3. Set up a table (at kid height) and have play dough and cookie cutters, bottles of bubbles, coloring pages and crayons, maybe even a box of "dress up" items. Games can include Ring Around the Rosie, Duck Duck Goose, the Hokey Pokey, or London Bridge. I wouldn't worry too much about organized activities as 2 year olds don't understand rules, and can get impatient.

  4. make up a game called pin the wheel on the train

or get a pinata--we had one for my nieces 2nd birthday

or try to rent a little train if you have the money

just remember that at 2...they cant do a whole lot.

my niece loved her presents more than anything

she would open a present and go ooh and stare at it ..

    she loved it......

try to pick stuff you son likes or might like to do ...

    good luck and God bless
