Sony, nikon or olympus?

If you ACCIDENTALLY buy the wrong OLYMPUS product, you LOST your money; further OLYMPUS products of similar specifications cost more than twice of comparable quality products from equally prominent brand manufactures, FYI- Further resellers/ importers DO NOT have a local price control from the principal manufacturer and can arbitrarily price OLYUMPUS products (BEWARE !)

For a regular compact point and shoot camera go with Fuji, Canon or Sony. For a digital SLR the only 2 I would choose from is Nikon or Canon.

Many have said Nikkon, I too agree Nikkon has good quality lens, If you want a analog camera , i prefer Nikkon.

If you want Digital : Simply blindly you can bet on Cannon. 2nd choice is  Sony.

Since you are comparing Sony , nikon and olympus :  I suggest you for Sony Make.

I am using Olympus compact cameras for years and I am very pleased, I suggest them. If you want an SLR, then you have to get a Nikon. They are the best. I don't trust Sony.

Nikon, without a doubt.  Nikon has been making cameras since the earlier 1900's, (though under the name Nippon Kogaku K.K.) and is, without doubt, the highest quality camera manufacturer there is.  Nikon's lenses (produced by the in house company, Nikkor) are made from scratch.  They make the glass that they make their lenses out of.  Clearly, Nikon is superior.

Now that you're going to get a Nikon may I suggest a camera?  The D40 or D40x if you're looking for a camera for more than shots of yourself holding up the camera or the family pet.
