Hey,

first off i would like to say, i am going to use the camera for personal use not professional. That being said, i was wondering which camera is better overall?(PICTURE quality,Videos, etc). I compared the two cameras and i didnt understand much since i am not very similar with cameras.

I know Nikon needs recharable batteries which is not a problem. In conclusion, i was wondering if anyone get give me some advice between the cameras. Please give me thoughts, comments, etc. Both are similar in price!

thank you and God Bless!-

Juan

  1. If you pick the Nikon, later if you ever decide to buy another camera, your choices will be much greater, since Nikon's use the SD/SDHC memory cards, the standard of the industry.  It also has a larger LCD if that is important to you

Sony cameras use a card which will only work on other Sony products, the Memory Stick.

I like the Li-ion battery better than the AA NiMH batteries, so if you can find a Coolpix that uses those, I would go for that.

    Navy Blue is cool
