  1. Very good choice IMO. You're getting in-camera Image Stabilization so every lens you use will have that benefit. Sony currently lists 26 lenses and has released a line of Carl Zeiss T* lenses plus every legacy Minolta Maxxum AF lens made since 1985 will mount to the A200 - as will lenses for the later Konica-Minolta D5 & D7 DSLR cameras.

    If your budget allows, you might consider the newer A300 (also 10.2mp) which has Live View that works with the AF. In a crowd and need to hold the camera over your head to get the picture? Flip the screen down and you can compose, check focus and shoot. Using the camera at or near ground level? Just flip the screen up.
