Sony Bravia 32" LCD flickering on screen...?

I installed my new TV yesterday, and i am watching digital channels through SKY+. When i turn the television on, the screen has random flickering horizontal bars every 10 seconds or so, for the first 2 minutes until it gets warm. Is this normal? I need to know so i can perhaps get it exchanged? This is my first LCD TV- Please help.

Make sure your connections on both the box and the TV set are seated 100%....Don't Power-Push them...just make sure they are seated...

IF you still have the bars after verifying the connections, box that TV up and deliver everything that came out of that box back to the store and exchange it.....

TVs can experience shipping problems....

I've got a Sony Bravia 32" LCD and mind doesn't flicker like that neither did my 26" again by sony, you should enquire about exchanging it or getting your money back
