Sony CDX-GT610UI installation in '97 Plymouth Breeze?

I purchased a Sony CDX-GT61OUI from a friend and neglected to see if it was compatible with my 1997 Plymouth Breeze. Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Is it even compatible?

Any other help on installation is greatly appreciated!

Yeah that radio will work with your car, you just have to get the right stuff to make it work. You will need a dash kit to hold it in place. The parts below are made from Metra, which is a manufactor of car audio parts. All of the parts I have listed are available from any Circuit City (they are also available at any other car install shop prolly).

Dash Kit: 996502 no pocket fits snug; 996700 no pocket; 996000 has a thin pocket for CD or what ever else

Wiring Harness: 701817 specific harness made for your car

You will need these in order to install the radio I also recommend a Sony Wiring harness. The install guys will know the part number for it and they can get it for you. These things will cost about 60 bucks total for all and you will need them in order to make that radio work in that car. Good Luck. email me if you need help [e-mail]
