Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W130 versus Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W170?

Question

I know that the sony cyber-shot dsc-W170 SHOULD be better because it's a later model, more expensive, includes additional features, etc.

But is all of that necessary for a young adult? Is the other camera (the dsc-w130) fine enough?
