Sony Cyber Shot questions..?

I've been using my Sony Cyber shot digital camera since receiving it last Christmas. It's been a great camera, but at times some of the photos have been really blurry.. and sharpening them with a photo editing program doesn't help. The photos that turned out blurry weren't fast moving objects or anything of the short.. it's just at random times the image captured comes out blurry/fuzzy. Another problem is the fact it's taking way too long for the camera to take the picture. Is there a way to fix this, or is this just how the camera works? For instance, during the 4th of July I was trying to take pictures of the fireworks and missed almost all of the shots because the camera took too long to snap. Maybe this can be fixed by messing around with the functions, but i've misplaced my user's guide. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

In my opinion the Sony CyberShot is one of the worst digital cameras ever made. I'm not alone. There is currently a class action lawsuit filed against Sony because so many of these little junk piles have broken and malfunctioned.

That said...you're right about it taking far too long to recycle and randomly taking bad photos. It's a flaw in the design and no about of changing settings is going to correct it. Mine is sitting in the closet. The lens refuses to engage when you turn it on, so all I can take are pictures of a black dog on a moonless night.

I wish you had gotten a Nikon for Christmas. You wouldn't be having any of these problems, for which I know of no fix.

What model # is it? I have a Sony Cybershot and I got some great pictures of the fireworks. You have to change the speed the pictures are taken and when taking pictures of something like that, you can change a setting for the burst so it'll take pictures until you take your finger off of the shutter button.
