Sony DCR-IP7E Handycam wont show up?

I have a Sony DCR-IP7E Handycam, but when i plug it into my computer using a usb cable, it does not say installing new hardware, or detect the camera at all, does anyone have a solution?

  1. Yes!! You need a iLink/firewire cable to connect to the firewire port of your PC!! There is a whole section devoted to your answer in the manual!! You can download one from the link below>>>>>>
