Sony DVD+R ?

Question

I am trying to copy a movie to a Sony DVD+R, but when I try to it says this:

Problem Copying

Windows encountered a problem when copying this file.

But it doesnt tell me what the problem is.

Hi Sam,

Make sure your recorder works with +R media.

The DVD+R and DVD-R are competing formats much like the old VHS and Beta formats in video tapes. Today most drives are Hybrid and handle both formats. They are usually labeled DVD+/-R.

If you can't figure out for sure try a -R DVD.
