Sony Dvd Handycam Desperately Need Help!?

Ok so I have a sony dvd handycam and i installed imagemixer 1.5 for sony. when i connected the camera using usb my footage didnt improt. can someone please help me with this problem. i need it asap!

Set your camcorder to play mode while it is hooked up through USB.

Check if the camcorder is recognized.

Click Start > Right-click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Managers

under imaging devices if there is an exclamation or question mark then you may need to install drivers which come with your camcorder CD

to install drivers right-click on the exclamation or question mark then select Update drivers. Once your camcorder is detected by installing the correct drivers there should be no problem in importing the video/still footage from your camcorder to your PC.
