Can anyone tell me if the charger for the W850 would be compatable with the k800i

yes definitely i use the w850 charger on my k800i with no problems

Yes. I had a k800i and my mate had a w850i and i am very sure the chargers are the same. Have a look at the prongs on the end of the charger that plugs into the phone just to check it is right.
