Sony Ericsson s500i Memory Stick Micro card not being recognized. Help?

Why is my memory card for my Sony Ericsson s500i not showing up?

Can anyone help me with this??

It's a 2GB ScanDisk Memory Stick Micro (M2).

On the package it says that it's "For use with Sony Ericsson Mobile Phones".

I've installed the Sony Ericsson PC Suite, and I have the Disc2Phone installed as well, on my XP computer.

The phone memory is showing up, but the memory card isn't. Can anyone tell me why this is? It's connected in the File Transfer option, so I know that's not a problem.

I've reinstalled the PC Suite. I've taken out the mem. card, put it back in, turned the phone off & on.

Do I need to format the card or something? And if so - how do I do that?

you have a disk option on ur phne that you need to set to read ur memory stick not ur phones HD
