Sony HDD/HD Camcorder: how do I...?

Question

Get the huge files produced converted to a YouTube format? I download them to my laptop at medium HD resolution, but they will not open with WIndows Movie Maker, my preferred YouTube factory! Will the Sony Picture Motion Browser software make a "low res" copy for use on sharing sites, emailing, etc, and how do I work this??

copy the files to your computer..can a converter and convert from HDD/HD to mpeg.....

yes, need to convert the video to avi or wmv format can be opened with windows movie maker.
