Sony Handycam Camcorder Sound Problem?

I am trying to download videos from my Sony Handycam Camcorder using the Handycam Tools Video Capture Tools and I can't get the audio to record. It shows that I have it on mute but I cannot figure out how to un mute it. Anyone else with this problem, please help?? Thanks in advance.

  1. Have you tried the FAQ section at the Sony support site for you camera model??
