OK well i see the PS3 games are like $60.00 bucks each so i was just going to get like a couple of them and use PS2 games which there are more of and also I think like mostly all PS3 games are on PS2 so what do you think should i just buy PS3 games or should i save money and buy some PS2 games? also if you have the PS3 how good is it give me the facts and if you have played guitar hero on it you know like playing guitar hero 1 or 2 on a guitar hero 3 PS3 guitar since they don't make 1 or 2 for it so yeah and i know it works on there but has any body did it. if so did it work good.

  1. PS2 games are cheaper, but not as good as PS3 games. But there are more, so I would say get some PS2 games and get PS3 games when you really want them. And the PS3 is an amazing console, it has the cell processor which is extremely powerful with 8 kernels, Bluray, which holds 50gb per disk compared to dvd's 9gb, and it can upscale dvd's. And if you want to see if your PS2 games are compatible on your 80gb PS3, go to this site- http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/Co...

  2. Wow, use some punctuation :P

Ok, an 80gb PS3 does NOT play ps2 games, the only ps3 that does is the original 60gb and that costs about $200 dollars more than a normal one because they don't make em anymore. Guitar Hero 3 on the ps3 is exactly the same as the ones on the ps2 but with better graphics. However, the graphics don't make much idfference when it comes to hitting coloured notes.

Buy ps3 games pre-owned (used), when I did I got 3 games for $50! Also, never buy them from high street stores, only off the internet beacuse again they are far less expensive even with the shipping costs.

And finally, most ps3 games are NOT on the ps2, only the awful ones are.
