Sony Picture Package can't find my camcorder?

I've installed Sony Picture Package Version 1.6 on a PC running Windows XP Professional. It installs fine but can't find my camcorder (a DCR HC22) connected with a USB cable.

Any ideas gratefully received!.

Go to Menu on Camcorder, Scroll down With Wheel until you see USB STREAM on the list, Then Press the wheel in once, Then scroll down to where it says USB STREAM,, Press in the Wheel again & you will see It will say OFF..Press the wheel again & It will show OFF & ON, Scroll to ON, Press the wheel again. Then go down to Return & Exit. You Have now Activated Your USB for your Picture Package to find your camera. That should solve it Good look !
