Sony TV snow at startup

Question

1994 model Sony KV20S10 Trinitron Color TV has s**w and ** sound at startup on all channels and after undetermined time will come on with perfect picture and sound quality. If turned off/on the problem again starts. The TV is operated on locl antenna (rabbit ears) and the menu is set to "cable-OFF". One suggestion on this site advised using a straightened out paper clip inserted into cable connection on TV and have TV menu set to Auto Programming to see if any channel would appear, **ne did as there was ** change in the problem. Any suggestions?????
