Question:

Sony VIAO will no longer power on

With the power adapter plugged into the laptop and the wall, the laptop will not power on. (won't power on with it unplugged either)

This is a Sony VAIO VGN-A600.

It is owned by a surgeon, and he needs the data from the harddrive. What do you recommend?
