Sony Vaio fz190 died recently while playing a computer game. what should i look for when i take it apart?

So it died while i was running warcraft 3. it was kind of oddly placed on only 3/4 edges (one edge was hanging off the table) and it just turned off. i sniffed for burning odor but didnt really notice anything. i took the whole laptop apart, cleaned out the vent from the cpu fan, but it still doesnt work. what should i look for? any help would be appreciated. it does not show reception of power from the ac adapter, the adapter still gets a little green light on it.

Sounds like the battery may have died.  If you have a spare battery give it a try.  I had similar kind of failure with a Vaio and nothing worked until I put in a new battery.
