Sony Vaio - good Uni laptop?

I'm tempted by this laptop - the 3GB RAM, 1.83Ghz, 200GB HDD vaio for £569.00 inc VAT from the sonystyle shop.

It looks like you get much more for your money with other brands but I'd like something reliable for Uni work that has a good screen & decent battery life.

Is this a good choice?

  3. That is an awesome laptop.  I have pretty much the same one and it works excellent!!  I have never had a problem with it.  Good choice!
