Sony Wega 42" LCD KF-42WE610 Color Problems

Question

I have a 42" Sony Wega LCD and it has a blur spot in the bottom-middle and right hand corner of the screen. It makes things look blue or pink depend on background color. It started small, but has gotten larger. Now, it is roughly 12" wide and 4" high in the center. I bought the tv in summer of 04, and the extended warranty I purchased from the retailer is expired. Any suggestion?
