Sony Wega: How do i get the bulb out of the housing to clean it?

The tv keeps turning off, and the red lamp light blinks, but the tv has turned back on and worked for a a night, then the problem the next day. I took the bulb out still inside the housing and the bulb does not look burnt out but looks to have dust on the inside of it. How do I get the bulb out to clean it?

The bulb is probably sealed - you should never have to clean it.

It sounds like the the hours on the bulb is gone past the limit even though the bulb will work.  You might want to replace it.  You may also need to turn the clock back to zero in the menu if you replace the bulb.
