My Sony preamp started acting funny awhile ago, would turn off by itself after I would turn it on. It didn't matter if I was listening to a cd or the radio, the result would be the same. It was installed in a BMW325 with external amp and eq....have replaced with old Blaupunkd which works just fine so I've eliminated my wiring job as a possible culprit. Have searched google and there seems to be a site called Euras (?) that will give out info but you need to be an organization...they list a possible problem with the faceplate and bad onoff button...can you enlighten me? Don't want to trash player cause I've had it since new/great shape, would like to fix if possible.
