Sony a100 "no lens attached" message. Help PLZ!!

Question

when I press to take a picture a "no lens attached" message appears. I have reset the camara, this did not work. The lens I have attached is the sony lens that came with the product.

As said before I would clean the metal contacts. To do that you should take a soft, white eraser and gently rub the contacts on both the lens and the body.

Detach the lens and clean the metal contacts on the lens and body. When remounting the lens do not depress the lens release -- align, attach, and turn the lens until you hear a click.
