Sony a200k or Olympus e420?

Question

does anyone have any opinions on which camera is a better buy?

This would be my first d-slr camera so I'm not trying to spend a tremendous amount of money. It's definitely going to be used for artistic purposes so when writing a review please keep that in mind.

I have the Sony a100 and love it. Personally I'd go for the sony a350 or sony a700 if you can afford it. I go the a100 when it first came out and plan to hopefully get the a700 soon.

i trust sony over olympus cameras any day. the great thing about the sony d slrs is that it has the image stabilization built into the body of the camera whereas canon and nikon have specialized VR and image stabilization lenses.

i have an olympus e500 and i use it for artistic purposes alot.

i'm pleased with it, it wasn't expensive as dslrs go. so i'll say olympus  anything over sony.
