Sony bravia 46" versus sharp aquos 46"- CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A DECISION? THANK YOU!?

Good question!

First off, you picked two stellar choices!  But here's my answer:

If you're going with the Sony, then I can only assume it's the XBR series, not the older model.

If it's the Aquos, then the base model (only model).

As the guy said above, you should check specs: your choice of tv's tells me that you have the money to spend as both tv's are higher end.  

Last year, I nearly purchased an Aquos as I thought it was top of the line.

Then I ran into the Sony XBR series.  WOW!

So I get ready to buy the Sony when I find the Samsung Touch  of Color which is amazing.  

And now?  The LG Scarlett Series.

The Sharp Aquos, although awesome, doesn't quite have the spec's that the other 3 have.

The three key specs?  

Contrast ratio:  The Samsung, Sony, and LG all have 50,000:1 contrast ratio (yes, it's THAT many zero's - the Polaroid - ha!- LCD's have 1500:1.  Can you say, c**p?)

Mhz - all three provide a 120 mhz refresh rate - amazing speed!

All three also provide 4 ms, down from 8 ms, so it's translated even faster.

I like the Aquos, but it's not has nuevo has the three above.

In order, i would go with Samsung, LG, Sony, Sharp.

Why is Sony not first?  Sony makes good stuff, but a bit over-rated in my book.  Samsung, LG have come to par and even exceeded Sony in many instances in regards to quality.

How do I know all this?

I'm buying the TV listed below (check the link).

It's the Samsung Touch of Color LN46A650!!!

both are great tvs and both have a full hd 1080p resolution. u might wanna check the contrast ratio in the specifications. the higher the better. ie. 15,000:1 is better than 10,000:1. this could be the deciding factor cuz it tells u how sharp the colors and picture is.

the sharp is a little cheaper. both r very stylish in appearance.

both r safe bets but i would go with sony cuz i have 2 sonys inmy  house and its a slightly better electronics brand overall
