Sony car radio/CR/cassette doesn't hold pre...

Question

I have recently changed vehicles and my daughter has had our old Sony brand XR-CA340 radio/cassette/Cd put into her vehicle. The unit works fine once you turn it on, however you have to put in your favourite stations everytime you start the vehicle, it doesn't hold the prerecrded radio stations.
