Sony cdx a360

installed stereo according to instructions provided. wich said match wire to wire. however when i switch ignition on it seems like it is trying to power up as you can hear cd go round for few seconds but it is not lighting up or powering on can anyone help me its driving me mad. gotta be something simple i am missing. danny, sunderland
