Sony cybershot+windows movie maker?

Question

i have a sony cybershot DSC-W55.

When I try to edit on WWM, it keeps saying :

"The file (file name)is not valid because it does not contain any information."

I think it does contain information, cause it's a video.

help please?

You might not be able to import video files from DSC-W55 directly to wmmaker since this video editing app does not support mpeg2.

- upload digicam video files to pc folder

- download (free) Prism video converter from NCH or Kates

- convert video files to avi or wmv @ hi res 640x480 possible

- import converted avi or wmv vid files to wmmaker

- edit videos
