Sony ericsson k800i wont turn on.

Question

i have had my fone for time.. i try to turn it on but all i get is the red infrared bit flicking on. i recently replaced the fone housing completely maybe i knocked something out of place i want to fix this personally what could i do? what components apply to switching the phone on and off????????
