Sony handycam DCR - Porblems with transfering files?

Question

We have taken three disk's worth of video - I have transferred them (by dragging the files to a folder on my computer). Some of the files play but only if that dvd is in the disk drive. Other files play but without sound. I am wanting to copy them as files (or ideally onto a dvd) so they can be playe on another pc or dvd player. I have Nero - but this doesn't seem to work. if you have nay help - the best way to copy and write these vid files - I would be most appreciative Thanks

You need to 'rip' the DVDs!! Refer to other resolved answers. Are you using the software provided by Sony?? Have you tried the Sony support site?? They have tutorials & live help. Follow the link below>>>>>>
