Sony handycam camcorders and widescreen

I was wondering, In the sony handycam section how do I know which camcorder has a widescreen recording? Is there a specifications listed?

Pretty much all of them do these days... look for 16:9 (normal standard definition is 4:3). This 16:9 standard definition, also known as "DV Widescreen"... This is not high definition even though ALL high def (720p, 1080i, 1080p) is 16:9.

Anyway, in the Sony camcorder's touchscreen menu, select "Standard Set", then select "DV Set"... that's where you can select whether 4:3 or DV Widescreen 16:9...
