Sony "W" or "V" series, which is better?

I'm after a 32" Sony TV, but which is better, the "W" or "V" series? I will be using it to watch films.

32w4000 vs 32v4500/32v4000

No answers please saying buy a plasma or other brand!

  1. Interesting and more confusing. That appears to be the world of HD.

    Both the Sony's have been scored very highly in magazines, hence my interest.So the problem still stands.

    Is it a W with 1080p (not withstanding the comments made) or a V which looks better on standard but doesnt support 1080p of any kind.

    The quest goes one!!!

    The W is the one to go for in regards to future proofing.
