I came across this review what does it mean by the recorder cant be set to record later? Surely thats the point of a recorder to record when youve gone to bed/gone out etc? Have you found this? "DONT WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS RECORDER.THE MAIN PROBLEMS ARE THAT WHEN ITS RECORDING, YOU CANT WATCH ANOTHER CHANNEL, YOU CANT VIEW THE EPG GUIDE, THE RECORDER CANT BE SET TO RECORD LATER.THE EPG GUIDE ITSELF IS VERY POOR.THE MODEL THAT THIS ONE REPLACED IS A BETTER RECORDER,EASY TO USE,AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL WHEN ITS RECORDING,AS A SONY FAN,VERY DISAPPOINTED"

  1. What it means is that it's not a twin tuner model. You can't watch one programme while recording another. It also seems to say that while recording is in progress, you can't use the EPG, or set up another recording, which does seem a bit poor.

I'm glad I've got the "previous model" mentioned (HDX860) and not this one!
