I was thinking of buying this will it work in the usa? is it pal and nicam compatible? I think its NICAM they use in usa?

Otherwise is there any HDD DVDs that would work on a USA/UK Television?

PAL is the U.K. TV picture format.

NTSC is the American TV picture format.

NICAM is a stereo sound format.

The U.S.A. uses 110v current, with a 50Hz frequency.

The U.K. uses 230v current, with a 60Hz frequency.
