Sony vx1000 or better?

I am looking to buy a sony vx1000 or a video camera with the same potential, i dont have much money but i will be sble to get around $800 if i sell my current cameras, i am looking to make my career of being aprofessionallskateboardingg filmer but i dont have good enough equipment to become 1 if anyone has any advice please say so
